An arbitration expert explains the truth about Saudi Arabia's wasted penalty kick against Poland

The former international football referee, Muhammad Al-Junaibi, confirmed the validity of the penalty kick that was awarded to the Saudi national team in the first half and was missed by the player Salem Al-Dosari “45”, due to a clear obstruction of the Saudi player inside the penalty area during the Saudi national team’s match against Poland, which ended with the latter’s victory with two clean goals in the second round of the group. On the other hand, Mohammed Al-Junaibi confirmed that in the Qatar-Senegal match, which ended with the latter's victory, there was a penalty kick that was not awarded to the Qatari team in the first half.  


Al-Junaibi indicated that the presence of the "mouse" video referee in general in the tournament corrected some arbitration decisions that would have affected the results of the matches.
