Hundreds of fans, volunteers and World Cup security forces performed Friday prayers at Al-Thumama Stadium, prior to the start of the Qatar-Senegal match in the second round of Group A competitions.

And a video clip showed the presence of individuals in a designated square at the time of the call to prayer, where they listened to the sermon in Arabic before performing the prayer in front of the World Cup stadium.

And on social media platforms, the hashtag # We are all Al Annabi appeared on the Qatari and Arab platforms, as the match is the last chance to preserve the Qatari team's chances of qualifying for the second round, as it needs to win, before its difficult task against the Dutch mills in the third round.

The match with the Teranga Lions comes after the first loss against the Ecuadorian national team with two clean goals, while Senegal also lost with the same result from the Dutch national team in Group A competitions.

And the Saudi Audience Council tweeted, in another tweet, in which he said, "We are all Al-Annabi...in support of the Qatari team, in front of you...come with a ball and watch the match at home."

The editor-in-chief of the Qatari Al-Watan newspaper, Abdul Rahman Al-Qahtani, commented, "Al-Annabi is stronger with your presence and encouragement. Be on the promise at Al-Thumama Stadium."
