West Asian Karate Championship in Sharjah Club hall on Friday

The announcement of the tournament details came during the press conference held today at the headquarters of the Sharjah Sports Council, and was attended by the President of the UAE and Asian Federations and the First Vice President of the International Karate Federation, Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al-Razouki, and the President of the West Asian Federation, Ibrahim Al-Qannas, and the President of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami. And the Secretary-General of the West Asian Federation, Mukhtar Saif, and the director of the tournament, Ayoub Lashkari, and a number of directors and heads of departments in the Sharjah Sports Council, and members of the Emirates and West Asian Karate Federations.


The President of the UAE and Asian Federations and First Vice President of the International Karate Federation, Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razooqi, said in his speech at the conference: "We appreciate the interest and follow-up of the Sharjah Sports Council in providing all means of support and success in organizing the championship in the Emirate of Sharjah," noting that the current version of the championship is witnessing participation. record thanks to its residence in the smiling emirate and the international reputation it enjoys in the field of organization and hosting.


In turn, Ibrahim Al-Qannas, President of the West Asian Federation, said: "The tournament is distinguished from the first moment, with good organization, strength and intensity of participation by both sexes." In his speech, he thanked the Sharjah Sports Council for allocating a headquarters for the West Asian Federation secretariat at the council's headquarters, and for providing all the necessary factors and capabilities. for tournament success.


The tournament director, Ayoub Lashkry, spoke about the details of the tournament, saying: "The competitions include 10 categories, and they will take place on November 25 and 26," explaining that the UAE will participate with 50 male and female players.
