Sweden started the EC with a win against Denmark.

Then there were three straight losses in close matches.

Every now and then, the playoffs and semi-final place felt far away.

- It felt like we as a team didn't play well enough.

We didn't reach the level we know we can all play at, says skipper Oskar Eriksson.

But after Sweden followed up with four straight victories against Norway, the Czech Republic and Germany and Turkey, it is clear that Sweden finishes top four in the group and gets to play in the semi-finals.

- We still knew that we would have it in our own hands.

Today was a good match from us, with a good start and then we were able to control.

Tomorrow awaits an insignificant final match in the group before the semi-finals on Friday.

- We demand that we put in a lot of punches and we know that it will be required to win against the three teams we lost to.

If we can continue with the same curve as the last matches, we will have a good match.
