Woods, who is still suffering the effects of the serious car accident at the start of 2021, is ranked first at 1266th but tops the PIP list ahead of world number one Rory McIllroy.
The players are measured in five categories:
1) Internet searches
2) Number of articles in newspapers and on websites
3) TV sponsorship time
4) How the player is noticed and recognized by the public outside golf
5) Social media
The award was instituted in 2021 to draw interest to the PGA Tour.
In total, almost SEK 1.2 billion was paid out to 20 players.
