It was during a training session in Idre at the end of October that Olympic gold medalist Walter Wallberg injured his wrist in connection with a crash.

Since then he has been walking around in a cast and the idea was that it would be removed today.

- The cast is already off, we took it on Saturday, we had a bit of a false start.

We ran a control X-ray two weeks after I got the cast and then everything looked fine, I had no pain in my wrist and I could use it so much that it was just as good to remove the cast, says the 22-year-old and continues:

- It's at maximum flexion it feels a bit clear, but it's not so strange considering that I just took it off, but otherwise it feels good, I can hold things and have very good mobility, I just need to build up little strength.

What will happen with the world cup premiere in Ruka?

- I still haven't decided.

We'll see how it goes this week, if I get a little more strength and a little more mobility.

But it's a question of risk and if it's worth taking it, it's much easier to hit the offense again if I should fall and receive me with the hand, that's a question I'll take this week along with my coaches and doctors.

We'll see how it develops.
