In the middle of the World Cup, and less than 48 hours before Portugal's entry into the running against Ghana, the English club Manchester United announces the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The divorce is official and to tell the truth, it does not surprise anyone as the domestic scenes, the invectives, the disappointments, the attacks and interposed reactions had finished polluting the relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United.
CR7 and Man U is a story that ends badly, like after the reformation of a couple.
The Portuguese striker returned a little over a year ago to the club which had revealed and dedicated him to the face of the world with a first Ballon d'Or won in 2005. And if the reunion had been fiery at the during a first season with 24 goals in 37 matches, the sequel was less romantic.
Obsessed with his race for record goals in the Champions League, the ex-Real Madrid player has never digested his club's non-qualification for the prestigious club competition this season.
His discomfort, his sulks ended up annoying the whole club, especially his trainer Erik Ten Hag who very often decided to do without him.

".
He took the opportunity to criticize his coach.

The breaking point was reached and Manchester United formalized the divorce in a press release referring to this Tuesday, November 22, a breakup “
by mutual agreement, with immediate effect
”.
