Gripen, on the draw, took on ninth-placed Sandviken on Friday.

The first goal came after only three minutes of play, on a corner.

Dennis Henriksen punched it in and Albin Arisniemi cut in, and the ball went in.

But in the 32nd minute of the match, Gripen offered a really delicious corner variant.

Victor Hjelm sent the ball in, while several Gripen players pretended to shoot at goal, but instead a scrambling Christoffer Norin caught the ball at the first post and finished in the goal, to 1-1.

First win of the season

Just minutes later, Hannes Edlund scored 2–1 for Sandviken, this goal was also scored from a corner.

That result stood until half-time, and also throughout the match.

Albin Arisniemi took the corner for the 2–1 goal and scored a goal and an assist in the match.

- It felt damn good, says Sandviken's Daniel Berlin in Elitserienlive's broadcast.

Sandviken thus took their first victory in this year's series, after a tentative start.
