The match ended 5-1 to Jesper Bratt's New Jersey Devils.

The win was the Devils' 10th in a row – the team has not lost since October 24 and tops the Metropolitan Division.

Why are you so good right now?

- It is above all about our speed.

Before, we didn't really know how to get through the games and often stumbled a bit on the goal line.

But this year, we have brought in many great and seasoned players.

It's about the little details that can take us the last percent to win matches.

Even those who stand and weigh, says Jesper Bratt.

Chasing Erik Karlsson in the points league

The forward from Stockholm started the season in great form.

Since then, the scoring has stopped a bit.

But the 24-year-old is still in eleventh place in the points league.

In 16 games, he has collected a total of 21 points (6+15) and is the second best Swede behind San Jose's Erik Karlsson (22 points).

Did you change anything during the summer training?

- Not really.

I was just trying to make every little detail better, get stronger get faster - all the usual stuff.

I tried to watch some videos this summer and learn more about my game on the court and study some goal scorers, see what they do to score their best goals,” Bratt said.

Contract expires after the season: "Nothing on my mind"

He made his debut for the Devils back in 2017 and currently has a contract with the club that runs through the season.

What happens next do not want to focus on yet.

- It's absolutely fun that it's going well and that the team has played well.

My motivation is to be as good a player as I can.

Since the whole business part is not something I think about now.

Another hyped forward in New Jersey who had a good game was Jack Hughes.

The 21-year-old 2019 draft pick was noted for two goals and one assist.
