But thanks to my coach Stéphane and the encouragement of the spectators and my whole team over the kilometres, I hung on and arrived at the end of the 57 kilometres.

“I am extremely proud of Théo, of course his performance, which is simply incredible (less than 9 hours!) but also of his attitude during the race… He suffered and had difficult passages to manage, but at no time he did not demobilize.

The atmosphere on the banks of the river and the support from the public were incredible, this race is definitely unique in the world…”, added its trainer Stéphane Lecat.

The Lorrain had followed for several months an intense training program alongside Stéphane Lecat, himself winner of this mythical race four times.

He was also accompanied by a physical and mental trainer.

And as the boy is still struggling to change "the perception of disability", he had invited two young people with disabilities.

Cloé Perdriat and Rayhan Bouhraoua were at his side in Argentina.

To admire the feat up close.
