Kohei Uchimura, who has achieved numerous achievements such as winning the Olympic gymnastics and individual all-around for the second time in a row, and retired from active duty in March this year, will hold a new event to let many people know the charm of gymnastics. I decided to launch.

This was revealed by Ms. Uchimura at a press conference in Tokyo, where Maya Murakami, who became the first Japanese female gymnast to win a medal in an individual event at the Tokyo Olympics, and a group at the Rio de Janeiro Games. Mr. Kenzo Shirai, who won the gold medal, was in attendance.

The event was produced by Mr. Uchimura based on the concept of "moving art", and Mr. Uchimura, active player Yusuke Tanaka, Mr. Murakami and Mr. Shirai will show off their performances.

In addition, the Olympians will perform "radio exercises" and perform with the children so that they can experience the charm of gymnastics together with the audience at the venue.

Uchimura said, "Many people say that they can only see gymnastics at competitions, or that they only remember the Olympics, so I want people to feel more familiar with gymnastics and lower the hurdles. I have expressed and embodied beautiful gymnastics so far. I've been doing it, so I want you to see gymnastics like you're looking at a painting."

The event will be held in Kitakyushu City next month.
