It was in Krylbo in Avesta that Masarna's Antonio Lindbäck was stopped in February when he was driving a car with 1.82 per thousand alcohol in his blood.

The speedway driver has admitted his crime and now the sentence has been passed.

The sentence states that the penalty is one month in prison.

When SVT Sport talks to Lindbäck, he says that he will apply to be allowed to walk with a foot shackle for a month.

- It feels okay, with a month in handcuffs.

I can have a reasonably normal life, he tells SVT Sport.

Tells about the lessons learned

The 37-year-old has a history of driving drunk several times before.

Since he was caught in February, Lindbäck has received treatment for his addiction and was first fired from Masarna before they chose to take the experienced driver back in April.

- I have learned a lot about myself and want to come out of this healthier and stronger.

Lindbäck talks about how he moved on:

- It doesn't feel good what I've done, it's still not forgivable.

But then it's about trying to work with the problem.

And there I have tried to step forward.
