And a video clip spread on social media platforms that won millions of views, of a snapshot that brought together Ronaldo and Fernandez, during their meeting in the camp of the Portuguese national team, days before the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
And it appeared in the snapshot - which was published by the official account of the Portugal national team - the dry meeting between the two players, as Fernandez entered the dressing room, greeted Ronaldo in a tepid manner, then the captain of the Portuguese national team extended his hand to shake Bruno's hand, and looked at him with a frowning face without any smile.

And this “cold” meeting between the two Manchester United stars came, just one day after the fiery statements in which Ronaldo attacked the current coach of the team, Eric Ten Hag, and players within the Red Devils team, “They do not want him to stay in the club” - as he described them - and he talked about his feelings of “ Betrayal" in the English team.
Ronaldo's statements were part of an exclusive interview with the famous British journalist Piers Morgan, in which Ronaldo talked about his current problems with Manchester United, as the full episode will be broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
The shot of Ronaldo and Fernandez sparked widespread controversy on the communication platforms, as it was circulated by several sports accounts, and sports journalists from around the world interacted with it.
Kenyan sports journalist Rene Ottinga commented, "Ronaldo and Bruno met in the Portugal dressing room yesterday, and the tension between the two was evident."
As for the Italian journalist, Fabrizio Piacin, he mocked the two players' meeting with each other, saying, "A warm greeting between Bruno and Ronaldo, it is an ideal environment."
Portugal will be in Group Eight in the World Cup, along with Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea, and will play its first match in the tournament against Ghana on November 24 at Stadium 974.
