The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, visited the main leadership center of the Qatar World Cup 2022 at the Doha Exhibition Center in the Al-Qassar area, days before the start of the global event, which is being held for the first time on Arab soil.

During the visit, the Emir of Qatar was briefed on the FIFA operations center, the main operations command center of the host country, and the preparations and measures taken for the global sporting event to ensure the highest international standards in coordination and follow-up.

During the visit, the Emir of the State of Qatar met a number of senior officials from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and FIFA.

The Qatar national team will play against Ecuador next Sunday at Al-Bayt Stadium in the opening of the 2022 World Cup, which will last until December 18, which coincides with the National Day of the State of Qatar.
