The 22-year-old Swede had a super round last Saturday in the LPGA competition in Belleair outside Tampa, Florida.

The 63 strokes were the best of anyone in the field and it put her in a tie for second going into the third and final round of the competition on Sunday.

It went perfectly fine there - until the last hole of the competition.

Stark had nothing to do with the victory at the time, but presumably she would have wished for a better ending.

On the 18th hole, there was a triple bogey for the Swede and she fell to tied for tenth place after going around in 72 shots, two over par.

Stark ended up a total of seven strokes behind American star Nelly Korda, who was responsible for seven birdies on Sunday.

However, Korda had a bogey on the last hole, but even so, her 64 strokes would be enough for victory at a total of -14.

This after Lexi Thompson "only" reached par on the 18th hole and she instead finished second, one stroke behind Korda.

Second best Swede was Pernilla Lindberg.

-4 was enough for shared 22nd place.

The contest was decided over three rounds, after Hurricane Nicole forced organizers to cancel Thursday's play.

This weekend's competition is the last before next weekend's tour finale, where the top 60 on the LPGA tour qualify.
