The new manager of professional baseball, Hiroshima Takahiro Arai, joined the autumn camp in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture on the 14th and confirmed the movements of the players for the first time.

Hiroshima's autumn camp has been held in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture since the 8th of this month for the first time in three years, and 35 players, mainly young players, are participating in the schedule until the 21st.

Coach Arai, who entered Miyazaki on the 13th, joined the team's practice for the first time since his appointment on the morning of the 14th.

Coach Arai, dressed in a black jersey, formed a circle before practice and told the players and coaches, "I expect more from everyone than you think."

In the morning, they inspected the bullpen and confirmed the pitching practice of middle pitchers such as pitchers Takuya Yazaki and Shota Nakazaki.

In the afternoon, an intra-squad match was held at the request of Director Arai, and rookie pitcher Shohei Mori, who started in the Red Team, threw three innings with strike-first pitching and struck out four strikeouts.

Coach Arai said, "I want to see as many players as possible without any strange preconceptions and talk to them. I wanted to see the movements of the players during the intra-squad game. I had the impression that all the players were moving. I want you to cherish each and every day and finish it without injury until the end."
