Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni chose star Lionel Messi at the top of a list of 26 players, to participate in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Scaloni announced his squad via a video posted by the Argentine Football Association on his Twitter account, and the squad did not include any surprises, and included Roma striker Paulo Dybala, whose participation was suspected after his injury in early October, while Giovanni Lo Celso will be absent, midfielder.
