After over ten years as chairman of the Swedish Football Association, Karl-Erik Nilsson has decided to step down this spring.

This when he is approaching the twelve-year mark.

Who will take over is not clear at the moment, but at least four names have now been nominated.

According to Expressen, it is about Birger Jonsson (nominated by Västmanlands FF), Annika Grälls (by Södermanlands FF), Jens T Andersson (by BK Häcken) and Fredrik Reinfeldt (by Brommapojkarna).

In the election committee's document, which is sent out to the districts during the day, it appears that more names may be added.

The nomination period is set for January 15, 2023.
