The 16th Jiangxi Provincial Games was hosted by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Sports Bureau and the Jiujiang Municipal Government. It was held from November 8 to November 18 in Jiujiang City at the foot of Mount Lu and by the Poyang Lake.
