The Arab Federation for Sports Press honored Adnan Hamad Al Hammadi, after he completed 40 years of work in various media outlets in the country and abroad, at a time when media professionals gave him the honor of giving their speech at the great forum attended by the most prominent media professionals in the Arab world and a number of leaders of the sports movement in Bahrain.

Adnan Hamad was the first to professionally work in the media on a number of television stations outside the country, including the work of CEO of Arab and international sports channels in the "Arab Radio and Television" network.

The honoring of Adnan Hamad came after his busy and continuous media career, where he began as a sports commentator in 1982, after which he moved to present programs, traveling between more than six Gulf and Arab stations with professional contracts that lasted for years. He also presented many television programs, commented on four World Cup finals, and three Finals for the European Championship, in addition to his participation in a number of workshops, seminars and media lectures. He also authored and published a number of sports and media books, the most important of which are “Sports Commentary between Hobby and Professionalism” and “The Philosophy of Media Criticism between Permissibility and Criminality.”
