Pitchers Yuki Nishi and Yuta Iwasada, who had acquired FA = free agent rights in professional baseball and Hanshin, will both remain in the team.

West pitcher is 31 years old from Mie prefecture.

He joined Orix in 2009 from Komono High School in 3rd place in the draft, and moved to Hanshin in 2019 as an FA.

He was one of the starting pitchers for Hanshin, and has pitched in 23 games this season, recording 9 wins and 9 losses with an ERA of 2.18.

He has 110 wins in his professional career.

In response to an interview with the press on the 9th, Nishi pitcher clarified that he would remain in Hanshin after exercising the FA's right to freely search for a transfer destination, including overseas.

Nishi pitcher said, "I was happy to hear that they wanted me to stay in the team and that it was necessary, and I accepted their passion. I have a strong desire to win the championship together, so I want to make sure I can keep good results."

In addition, pitcher Iwasada, who is active as a middleman, has revealed that he will remain with the team without exercising the right of FA only in Japan.

His jersey number will be changed to "14", which was worn by Atsushi Nomi of Orix, who retired from active play this season, during the Hanshin era.

Iwasada said, "When the team asked me to wear the uniform number 14 that Nomi-san, who I had admired for more than 10 years, it resonated tremendously. I hope I can share the joy of winning with the fans. I will do my best," he said.
