A Ferrari driven by Schumi is priceless.

The iconic F2003-GA Chassis 229, with which Michael Schumacher won numerous races during the 2003 season, was sold at auction for the record sum of 13 million Swiss francs (13.2 million euros), this Wednesday in Geneva.

It is "a record price for a modern-era Formula 1", said the auctioneer.

The previous record for such a sale was 7.5 million euros.

This car, in which the German driver won five races to win his 6th world championship title, was the highlight of the “luxury week” auction organized by Sotheby's.

It was estimated between 7.5 and 9.5 million euros.
