Ebba Årsjö won two golds and a bronze at the Paralympics in China in February.

This year, she has the WC and the World Cup on the program.

But there will be no more downhill races.

- I don't really want to remove the downhill race, but I'm trying to be mature and make a good decision here.

I have to do something to have fewer difficult races and trainings.

If I'm going to hold on for a good while longer, it's not reasonable to go downhill, she says.

Does it hurt too much?

-

Yes, I don't have the strength and balance to drive 100 km/h and jump.

However, she continues with super-G to be able to run the combination, together with slalom.

- A super-G is also long and difficult, but I can't remove that either, it gets too boring, she says and laughs.

"It's boring"

We meet at a press conference in a white Östersund, which received the winter's first snow last night.

Årsjö and alpine colleague Aron Lindström shoot in the snow in front of a camera.

Actually, the Alpine WC was supposed to take place at home in Åre this winter, but had to be moved because Sweden was financially unable to organize all five Para WCs as planned.

- It's boring.

I understand the decision but I would have liked to have friends and family around.

Living at home, eating mother's food and then going to compete would have been fun, it doesn't happen often, says Ebba Årsjö.

The WC in Spain in January is of course the season's big event.

But she actually invests more in the cups.

- A slalom or total cup weighs more heavily for me, then you are the best during a whole season.

But of course the WC is also very important.
