Caroline Garcia, 6th player in the world, won the WTA Masters for the first time in her career, beating Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka (N.7) 7-6 (7/4), 6-4 in the final on Monday November 7 at Fort Worth, Texas.

The 29-year-old Lyonnaise is the second French player to be crowned in this prestigious event, bringing together the eight best players of the season, after Amélie Mauresmo who won against her compatriot Mary Pierce in 2005.
