Professional baseball and Nippon-Ham have announced that their main player, Kensuke Kondo, has exercised his FA = free agent rights, including overseas.

Kondo, 29, won FA rights including overseas in July this year, and on the 8th, he told the team that he would exercise his rights.

Kondo, who is in his 11th year as a professional, joined Nippon-Ham from Yokohama High School in 4th place in the draft in 2012. Won the highest on-base percentage title.

Kondo contributed to winning the gold medal as a member of the Japanese national team at the Tokyo Olympics last year, and has also been selected as a member of the warm-up game held this month for next year's WBC = World Baseball Classic.

Kondo, who has exercised his FA rights, will be able to negotiate with each team, including his team, from the 11th of this month.

Through the team, Kondo said, "The Fighters have given me warm words many times, and they have also presented me with valuable offers. Now that the regular season is over and I am concentrating on Samurai Japan, I have more time and materials to think about. I decided that it was necessary and came to this decision."
