The national team is currently having a three-day training camp in Södertälje ahead of upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

The team then goes to Tallinn on Thursday to play against Estonia on Friday and then awaits a match again on Sunday, against Israel in Norrköping.

There are three players who are missing from the gross squad due to illness or injuries.

The former Norrköping player Felix Terins, now in Zwolle in the Netherlands, has a knee injury.

Jämtland's Pierre Hampton also misses the internationals due to a feeling in a knee.

"Uncertain if he will have time to recover"

The only player the national team management hopes for is Norrköping's Nicholas Spiers, who has a cold and is not at the training camp in Täljehallen.

- Nic has a cold, he is not at the camp and it is uncertain whether he will have time to recover until we leave on Thursday, says Mikko Riipinen, national team coach.

No substitutes

For Spiers to be relevant, he must feel better and go through the protocol required to travel with the national team and play matches.

No substitutes have been called up to the squad, but Heidelberg's Felix Edwardsson and Södertälje's William Kermoury were given the chance to fill in the camp.

- We brought them in to be able to play more match-like in training, while at the same time they get a chance to get a feel for the national team a little.

But we are not making any further selections for the squad, says Riipinen.
