Three young people have been injured when they have been attacked by several hooded men, presumably by radical followers of

FC Barcelona

, in a Pamplona bar in the Iturrama neighborhood.

The aggressors, according to eyewitnesses, have come to the vicinity of the premises in several passenger cars from which they have come out to attack

Osasuna

fans who had made an appointment to later go to the El Sadar field.

Members of the National Police and the Local Police have

cordoned off one of the bars

in the Iturrama neighborhood in Pamplona where the attack by radical Barça supporters took place.

The hooded men have gone to a place located on Calle San Juan Bosco, in a neighborhood

very close to the university campus

where the presence of a large number of young people is common.

In the hours before the La Liga match between Osasuna and Barça, 'rojillos' fans were inside the bar when the hooded men appeared armed with

knives and baseball bats

.

In addition to attacking the followers of Osasuna, the assailants have destroyed the premises that have suffered the breakage of its exterior windows and part of the furniture.

The three injured have been transferred to the Navarra University Hospital, which has not yet issued a medical report on their condition.

Osasuna has issued an official statement in which it "roundly condemns" the incidents caused by FC Barcelona "ultras" and expresses its "solidarity" with those affected.

"The club ratifies its total opposition to any sign of violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport and expresses its wish that tonight's match takes place with absolute normality," the statement concludes.
