The team made its first World Cup start of the season - and it was an immediate success.

On a challenging track, WC heroes Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward were one of seven flawless crews among the 35 that came to the start.

In the jump-off von Eckermann then put pressure on the three finishing crews as he was faultless and fast.

"Ride a little on the safe side"

SVT's expert Lotta Björe still didn't think it looked like they were going full throttle.

- I think he rode a bit on the safe side.

He knows what the three in front have done and who comes behind.

I don't think he was on full speed, but rode incredibly smart, she said.

The last crew of the jump-off, Gerfried Puck on Equitron Naxcel V, Austria, managed a flawless jump-off but was nowhere near von Eckermann and King Edward's time.

- It is a horse that does not belong to the usual crowd of horses, says Lotta Björe.

Second Swedish victory

Other Swedes finished further down the results list.

Petronella Andersson on Castres van de Begijnakker Z finished in 14th place with four faults and Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli on Kalinka van de Nachtegaele finished 32nd after 16 faults.

The Swedish World Cup victory was the second in a short time when Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli recently won in Helsinki.
