Loco Solare, Japan's women's national team, defeated Canada in the semi-finals of the Pan-Continental Curling Championships to advance to the final.

The Pan-Continental Championships held in Calgary, Canada, is a tournament where 9 women's teams and 8 men's teams from countries and regions in Asia, Oceania, and the Americas participate in next year's world championships. I'm here.

Japan's women's national team Loco Solare, who won the round-robin league match and advanced to the semi-finals, played their hometown Canada on the 5th.

In the match, Japan seemed to be under pressure with one point each being stolen in the 3rd and 8th ends, but in the 9th end chasing 2-5 and 3 points, skip Fujisawa Satsuki made the last shot. I knocked out the opponent's stone and scored 3 points at once, catching up with the tie.

And in the final 10th end, they succeeded in stealing 1 point in the unfavorable first and beat Canada 6-5 to advance to the final.

Japan will face South Korea in the final on the 6th.

In addition, SC Karuizawa Club, the men's national team from Japan, lost to Canada 2-8 in the semi-finals, and in the third-place match against the United States, they lost 7-8.

At this tournament, both the men's and women's teams have qualified for next year's world championships.

Satsuki Fujisawa "I want to enjoy the finals"

Skip Satsuki Fujisawa said, "I was talking to everyone about making the match as close as possible and putting up with it. Until halfway through, there were many situations where we almost lost the match, but we were able to persevere well and managed to endure the 9th and 10th ends. I was able to score my chances in the 2nd half, so I was able to achieve my pre-match goal.”

Ahead of the final against South Korea on the 6th, he said, "The next match will be our last match, but we're always trying to face it with a new feeling, so we'll show our performance in the final as well. I think I'm nervous, but I want to enjoy it," he said.
