In July this year, Yuzuru Hanyu, a figure skater who turned professional, performed at his first solo ice show after turning professional, which he produced.

The one-and-a-half-hour show held in Yokohama on the night of the 4th was performed only by Mr. Hanyu, and at the beginning, there was a 6-minute practice time just like a competition. It was a performance to watch.

Amidst the tense atmosphere in the packed venue, Mr. Hanyu performed to the music of "SEIMEI", a free program for the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, and performed three times of triple axels. He captivated the audience with his unique jump composition and splendid steps.

After this, Mr. Hanyu told the audience throughout the show, "I want people to see the documentary about Yuzuru Hanyu in real time." I expressed my own progress with the choreography of the novice era program choreographed by and the choreography of "Romeo and Juliet", which was a free program in the year of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.

In addition, in a program in which Mr. Hanyu performed all the choreography for the first time, he worked on new expressions such as collaborating with projection mapping projected on the ice and his own sliding.

And Yumi Matsutoya's "Haru yo, comee", which was performed at the exhibition of the competition.

When the show ended with a performance of the short program of the Sochi Olympics, “Parisian Promenade,” the venue was filled with thunderous applause.

This ice show will be held in Yokohama City on the 5th as well, and will be held in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture for two days next month.
