China News Service, November 4th. According to the official news of the German national football team, Werner tore the ligaments in his left ankle during the recent Champions League match between Shakhtar Donetsk and Red Bull Leipzig and will miss the rest of 2022.
Werner's club RB Leipzig also issued an announcement regarding Werner's injury.
