- It was a tough match, but we knew that beforehand that it would be.

It was tough when it was 0-3, but looking at the whole match we deservedly won and fed on, says Edsbyn's Joakim Svensk to Elitserien Live.

Edsbyn chased in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Oscar Wikblad reduced it to 1-3 when he intercepted a ball in the penalty area and was cool in the moves.

Frillesås was close to making it 1-4 but Karl Tagesson's ball hit the post.

Instead, Joakim Svensk reduced it to 2-3 with a corner variant soon after.

With a quarter of an hour left, Edsbyn was caught.

Samuli Helavuori got a dream hit on a bouncing ball and sent in 3-3 straight up into the left cross.

With six minutes left, Christian Mickelsson made it 4-3 to Byn on a rebound after a corner and the Red Farmers could sing out supported by the drumming in the stands.

For all Edsby goals, Frillesås had a player sent off.

"Several steps up from the premiere"

- It's really heavy, make sure we lead and are there at the end.

It's a hell of a job we put in and sacrifice ourselves the whole match, but it's several steps up from the premiere, says Frillesås captain Fredrik Johansson.

It was the guests from Halland, who lost to Västerås 12-2 in the opener, who were effective in the first half.

At 0-1, the ball was played in from the left wing and near the goal Linus Jönsson volleyed the ball in.

At 0-2, Karl Tagesson stepped on in the middle and then played the ball out on the right wing where Lukas Norrman cut the ball in with a hard shot.

When Frillesås scored 0-3, Tero Liimatainen played the ball forward in depth.

Linus Jönsson managed to get control of the bouncing ball and scored in a free position.

- This is exactly how we want it.

We have set the defensive and been sharp on counterattacks.

It was bad against Västerås and we have talked about that and we want to get the defense together.

Then we know that we are good at changing, said Frillesås's Jesper Henriksson during the break.

- They are doing well and have taken advantage of their chances and I think we have played quite well and have created a lot of corners but they have been thick, Edsbyn's Christian Mickelsson said during the break.
