The fine comes from Uefa and concerns rule violations in both the away and home match against Gent in the Europa Conference League.

Djurgården writes on its website that the total is the equivalent of 906,584 Swedish kronor.

According to Djurgården, they fall on the following points:

  • Blocked by stairs

  • Unrest in the stands

  • Pyrotechnics

  • Throwing objects

  • Damage

Djurgården also mentions that the punishment may include playing in front of empty stands at home and that the team may not sell any tickets to Djurgården away from home.

On the field, Djurgården has otherwise reaped great success in the European Games.

After the 1-0 victory against Shamrock on Thursday, it was clear that the team went through the group stage undefeated and collected another 5.5 million kroner in prize money.

In March next year, the round of 16 awaits, but which team Djurgården will face has not yet been decided.
