On the other hand, Jardim, who won the Asian Champions title in the last edition with the Saudi Al Hilal, showed his capabilities wonderfully against Al Wahda, Al Jazira and Al Ain, thanks to his technical interventions and the substitutions he made in every match.

He dealt with the events of the Al-Ahly and Al-Ain match very well, despite the guest team's advance with an early goal, scored by Mohamed Marzouk by mistake, in addition to the injury suffered by Eid Khamis, but Jardim pushed the Uzbek Ganyev, who was the turning point in the performance of the "Dubai Knights". And contributed to the improvement of the performance of Argentine Cartabia and Brazilian Cesar, after Ganyev gave the team control of the midfield, with the presence of the Iranian Ahmed Nourallah.

Although Al Ain advanced with an early goal, the visiting team did not benefit from this advantage, and Jardim imposed his style of play, thanks to the high pressure method on the "leader" midfield.

The goal of the Syrian Omar Khribin, before the end of the first half, contributed to the return of the owner of the land to the atmosphere of the meeting, while the second half witnessed an advantage from Al-Ahly youth, who added the second goal through the Uzbek substitute Ganyev.

Jardim said in the press conference that "overcoming a big team like Al-Ain, the title holder, has great pleasure and happiness."
