In the professional boxing light flyweight division, WBC champion Kenshiro Teraji and WBA super champion Hiroto Kyoguchi spoke about their enthusiasm ahead of the unification match to be held on November 1st.

WBC = World Boxing Council Champion Teraji and WBA = World Boxing Association Super Champion Kyoguchi will hold a unification match between Japanese players on November 1st in Saitama City.

The two had played against each other in their amateur days, and Terachi won with 3 wins and 1 loss.

Before the match, the two attended a press conference in Tokyo on the 30th, and Terachi said, "I'm more nervous and excited than ever. I'm very happy that I'm getting attention, and my motivation is very high." I talked about my feelings.

After that, he said, ``I just do my own boxing rather than my opponent.

On the other hand, Kyoguchi said, "There are high expectations on SNS, so I'm more excited than ever."

He then expressed his enthusiasm in a unique way, saying, "I believe that the training I've accumulated so far will lead to results, so I'm just doing it. This time, biologically, I have a strong desire to surpass him."

Terachi suffered his first loss in the WBC title match in his ninth defense last September, but returned to the throne this March by defeating the same opponent.

On the other hand, Kyoguchi has won all 16 games since his professional debut in 2016, and in June he defended his title for the fourth time at the World Championships held in Mexico.

This is the second unification match between Japanese wrestlers after 10 years since the unification match between WBA minimumweight champion Higashi Yaegashi and WBC minimumweight champion Kazuto Ioka.
