It was last Friday that the match between Kristianstad and Tingsryd was interrupted after a hard shot was thrown onto the ice.
About an hour and a half later, the match was finished.
- What I am most disappointed about is that they force us to resume the match at all, said coach Fredrik Glader to SVT Sport after the match.
Now, in an email, signed by coach Fredrik Glader and chairman Jan Pyrell, the club has requested that the match be replayed, according to Smålandsposten.
"Taif submits the matter to the Competition Committee for assessment but requests at least that the match be replayed and that in a place where safety and a sporting settlement can be guaranteed.
In support of this request, Taif claims that the match was never completed.
What happened in the last quarter of the game was a travesty.
The competition committee's decision must be based on the fact that the development of events in the third period is equated with the match being interrupted," they write according to Smålandsposten.

Tingsryd believes that the match was resumed after threats of reprisals against the club.
“This is the worst thing Taif has ever experienced.
We believe that SIF, the referees and HA's sports director handled the situation squarely and insensitively.
The players' health and well-being have been neglected.
This is a work environment issue and should have been handled by the decision makers as such.
The match would have ended.
Everything else is incomprehensible.
By their decision, responsible decision makers have deprived TAIF of a fair and sporting chance to complete the match.
No one knows how it ended.
Such very serious events must be punished both for a lack of safety and for the destruction of the sport.
Taif therefore requests that the Competition Board pronounce a fair penalty in this case so that Taif's sporting interests are met and also to prevent hockey from being destroyed by hooligans.", they write.
