The Korean national football team's 'monster defender' Min-jae Kim is expected to officially open next summer.

However, other clubs can only sign him for 15 days.

Attorney Mattia Grasani, the legal representative of the Naples club, revealed part of Min-jae Kim's buyout clause in a program on the local broadcaster Kiss-Napoli.

A buyout is a kind of minimum transfer fee that the original team has no choice but to allow a transfer during the player's contract period.

Other clubs can negotiate a transfer with the player they want by offering the buyout amount.

Lawyer Grassani said, "Minjae Kim's buyout clause is not valid until June 30, 2023."

“It is the will of the club as well as the players to limit the validity of the buy-out clause to a very short duration no matter what happens, because in this way it is possible to evaluate the removal and replacement of a player in a timely manner.” We can confirm that the out clause is only valid for 15 days,” he added.

In other words, it is interpreted that other clubs can sign Kim Min-jae from July 1 to 15, after June 30 next year.

Kim Min-jae, who moved to Naples from Turkiye Fenerbahce this summer, is known for a buyout price of 45 million euros to 50 million euros.

After joining Napoli, Minjae Kim became a key player in the team and established himself as the best defender in the league.

He played full-time in all 10 of the team's 11 Serie A matches, except for one where he took a break, leading Napoli's opening unbeaten streak and scoring two goals despite being a defender.

In September, he became the first Asian player to be named Serie A Player of the Month.

He also played full-time in all five European Football Confederation Champions League matches, contributing to five wins.

The courtship of the big clubs continues for this kind of activity, and Kim Min-jae's stock price is also soaring.

Manchester United, a prestigious English Premier League club, is also known to be interested in signing Kim Min-jae.
