Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina, Polish player Iga Sviontek, American Corey Gauff and Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia will play in the Tracey Austin group.
Belarusian tennis player Arina Sabolenko, Tunisian Ons Jaber, American Jessica Pegula and Greek Maria Sakkari will meet in the Nancy Ritchie group.
The final WTA tournament will be held from October 31 to November 7 in Texas (USA).
Earlier, the head of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF), Shamil Tarpishchev, said that Kasatkina had no chance of winning the WTA Finals.
