It was last night that the match between Kristianstad and Tingsryd was interrupted after a banger was thrown onto the pitch.

Despite the fact that neither players nor managers wanted to finish the match, it was resumed an hour and a half later, after the arena was emptied of spectators.

Something that made Tingsryd's coach Fredrik Glader furious.

- What employer would have forced their employees back if someone detonated a bomb at their workplace?, he said.

Erik Ryman responds to the criticism

Hockey Allsvenskan's Erik Ryman understands Glader's reaction, but believes that the rule book, which the International Ice Hockey Federation clubbed, does not allow them to make a different decision.

- We have rule 73 which says that you must ensure that the security of the event is maintained, and then you must resume the match if it can happen within two hours, he tells SVT Sport.

What is needed to circumvent these rules

?

- I actually don't know if the roof might collapse.

I don't know what could be done differently at this point.

It is something we have to look at, he says.

"Understand that they get cut"

Erik Ryman says that you should evaluate how you handled the situation already today.

- We start working today.

What has happened, what have we done and what can we do next time, he says.

- We strongly distance ourselves from this, of course.

I understand that they are cut.

It must have been absolutely amazing.

That is not something we want in our arena.

Assume that an exact similar situation occurs in the next match, will the match be restarted even then based on the rule?

- At the moment, that's the way it is.

It is not something that we as a league decide.

We need to make sure it's a safe event.
