14-year-old winner in the women's class: "I thought I was fourth"

Tyra Bäckström from Sorunda outside Nynäshamn, was a phenomenon already last year when she finished third in GGN as a 13-year-old.

This year it was enough all the way to victory.

But it was an even match, with Bäckström crossing the finish line five seconds ahead of nearest chasing competitor Hanna Berzelius (Linköping) in a time of 3.21.07.

- It is absolutely incredible.

At the end, Berzelius went into the lead for a while, but then Bäckström increased, because she thought "I have a chance out on the bog".

Bäckström has been knocked down at least twice in this race but got up each time.

A fantastic run, she has done this very well, says SVT's expert commentator LG Ståhl.

Linnéa Åkesson (Skövde) finished in third place, just one second behind Berzelius and six seconds behind the victorious Bäckström.
