Al-Ahly team won the Egyptian Super Cup after beating Zamalek with two goals without a response in the Emirates.
Al-Ahly's Brazilian goals, Bruno Savio (38) and Karim Fouad, scored in the second minute of overtime for the match.
Al-Ahly strengthened its record in terms of the number of title wins after crowning its 12th title, while Zamalek's balance stopped at 4 titles.
Zamalek played the match as a double champion (the Egyptian League and Egypt Cup) in the season before last (2020-2021), while Al-Ahly participated in the match after it was ranked in the runners-up in both competitions.
The tournament is the first for Swiss Marcel Koehler with the Century Club after he was appointed coach of the team last September.
Portuguese coach Jesualdo Ferreira failed to win the Super Cup with Zamalek after losing the title before to Al-Ahly in 2015 during his first period with the "White Castle".

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Dakhiliya team in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League next Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Zamalek will play Enppi in a match presented from the fourth round on the same day.
