It is the third fight in the last eight months for Ortiz, who is eight years younger and unbeaten so far.

Lolachenko, on the other hand, last paused his career for almost a year after volunteering to join the Ukrainian army due to the Russian invasion.

“I couldn't abandon my country back then, no matter what my personal dreams and goals were.

I had a bigger obligation," Lolachenko told American media.

Despite the break of several months, the Ukrainian is the clear favorite against Ortiz.

In his amateur career, Lolachenko won 396 and as a professional 16 fights against just three total losses.

If he wins again, he hopes to be able to fight for the title again.

The current holder of the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts is the American Devin Haney.
