The player has been in custody since October 6, on probable grounds suspected of rape.

Assistant prosecutor Frida Vedin now chooses to bring eight cases and the trial starts on November 9 in the Stockholm District Court.

"After investigations were carried out, among other things, of the defendant's mobile phone and interviews were held with him, the plaintiff and witnesses, the suspicions against the man have been strengthened," says Frida Vedin in a press release.
