Ball causes the death of a British referee

The British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, said that the school football sector experienced a difficult and sad time during the past two days, after the death of veteran football referee, Michael Grant, while leading a youth team match at Silford in Lincolnshire.

The referee died as a result of receiving a blow to the head after the ball was cleared by a player while leading the school game.

The ball caused a brain hemorrhage for Michael Grant, especially as he was elderly, and he was taken to the hospital, where his death was announced a short time later.

Grant is one of the approved referees for the football sector in the Federation of Regions, and he usually ran during the school football season, two to three matches per week.

Grant is also a grandfather, with a long career in football, and a widely respected figure, and his death left many people sad, especially in the school football family.

The Association of Local Referees and the Federation sent its condolences to the family of the deceased, and decided to observe a minute of silence in mourning for his death, during tomorrow's matches.
