Kagoshima prefecture's Kamimura Gakuen forward, Fukuda Moroo, will join Germany's first division league Mönchengladbach midway through this season.

Kamimura Gakuen's Fukuda, an 18-year-old from Kagoshima Prefecture, is a forward with a variety of scoring patterns, such as his ability to take advantage of his springy headers and accurate shots to the left and right.

Last summer, when he was a sophomore, he was the top scorer in the national high school overall and contributed to the team's best eight, and was selected as a candidate for the national team under the age of 19.

According to schools, etc., Fukuda will join Mönchengladbach in the German first division league from January next year in the middle of this season.

Fukuda said, “I am very honored to be able to play as a member of a club with such a long history. I will do my best," he commented.

Mönchengladbach is a veteran team that has won the German First Division title five times in the 1970s, and defender Ko Itakura, who contributed to Japan's participation in the World Cup Qatar tournament, is also a member of Mönchengladbach.
