Skellefteå started the season brilliantly, but lately they haven't got it right and the losses have piled up.

Before tonight's derby against Luleå, they had lost six straight games and dropped in the table.

- Maybe we cheated a little and didn't play as physically as we could, we messed up on some small things and it paid off, says Skellefteå's Simon Robertsson to SVT Sport.

After two periods of play against Luleå, Skellefteå led 2–1, but Jack Connolly equalized midway through the third period and the game went to a goalless overtime.

Once in the penalty shootout, Simon Robertsson decided the match by being the only one to score his penalty.

- It's really nice to win after six straight cod, and the fact that it was here in Luleå doesn't make it any worse, a really nice feeling, says Robertsson.

Luleå's team captain Erik Gustafsson was not quite as pleased.

- I think we play a good match, we are the better team seen over 60 minutes, but we have to fight tremendously for the goals we score at the moment.

It's always tight, hot matches when we meet, but today they draw the longest straw, a little lucky, says Gustafsson to SVT Sport.
