Shabab Al-Ahly participates in the first edition of “Super West Asia” basketball

Tomorrow, Friday, the draw for the West Asian Basketball Club Super Championship will be held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in which the first basketball team of Shabab Al-Ahly Club, champion of the league season 2021-2022, will participate. Its first edition will start on December 19 and the competitions will continue until May 2023.


The Super League West Asia (WASL) has a new and important competition station for clubs in West Asia and the Gulf, and it will be held in a two-group system. India and Kazakhstan, bringing the number to 8 teams, will compete later in the pool system for a week, with the place to be determined later, as the first and second qualify for the Asian Club Championship, whose champion will qualify for the Intercontinental Championship, the highest club competition in the International Basketball Federation FIBA.
