Motivation is what will determine the day Sandra Näslund decides to retire.

After the Olympic gold last winter, she has won all the major titles she can win, but whether there will be any further Olympics is currently uncertain.

When asked where she is in her career, she answers:

-

Somewhere on the final stage, I think, I've definitely lasted longer than I will continue, says Sandra Näslund.

Right now, in any case, there is the motivation to continue developing and chasing new victories.

- I always want to win when I enter a competition, of course I'm hungry for more, but then I'm also very satisfied with what I've achieved so far in my career, says Sandra Näslund.

A blip in the protocol

Last season, Sandra was completely superior to her competitors.

She won a whopping 11 out of 12 races in the World Cup, the only miscalculation came in Arosa where she finished fourth after falling.

The season's goal for Sandra is difficult but clear.

- Bräkka last season.

Does it work?

- Of course it's possible, it was a bump in the results list, says a laughing Sandra Näslund.
