Barcelona won the Champions League in 2021, last spring they lost the final against Lyon - now they are looking to take back the title.
And it started well with a 9-0 win over Benfica in the opening game.
With that great victory in mind, Rosengård had focused extra on the defensive work before the match - but they failed to withstand the Barca offensive in the pouring rain at Malmö IP.
And it was Fridolina Rolfö who was behind the visitors' first goal.
Offensive left-back Rolfö spun away Ria Öling, got into the penalty area and played diagonally back to Aitana Bonmatí who headed in 1-0 after half an hour played.
A couple of minutes before the break, the next Rosengård defender was outwitted.
Geyse deliciously slipped past Jessica Wik and passed Bonmatí who scored her second goal of the game, her third in this year's edition of the Champions League.
But soon after, Olivia Holdt gave the home team hope.
Team captain Mia Persson's pass touched a Barcelona player and was directed perfectly to Holdt, who shot in the reducer.

In the second half, Rosengård resisted for 20 minutes.
But then Mariona Caldentey perceived that the Rosengård goalkeeper was standing far out, pulled a ball away from the center circle - which sailed over the head of Tegan Micah and into the goal.
In added time, Caldentey then managed to score his second goal of the game and Barcelona won convincingly 4-1.
The next match for Rosengård is on November 24 away against Benfica.
For Barcelona, who top Group D, Bayern Munich await.
