Ryota Arai, the younger brother of manager Takahiro Arai, who will be appointed as the 2nd army batting coach in professional baseball in Hiroshima next season, held a press conference on the 27th, saying, "There are many players who feel the potential, and I will do my best for the players and the carp. I want to do my best," he said enthusiastically.

Ryota Arai, who will be appointed as the second army batting coach next season, held a press conference at Mazda Stadium in Hiroshima City on the 27th.



In this, Mr. Ryota Arai said, "Director Arai called me and said, 'Can you help me?' and immediately replied, 'I understand.' I was so excited when I thought about it," he said.



On top of that, Ryota Arai said, "My motto is to be empathetic and close to the players. There are many players who feel their potential, and I'm looking forward to working hard together and supporting them. I'll do my best to build relationships of trust with the players. Therefore, I want to do my best for the Carp," he said enthusiastically.



Ryota Arai is 39 years old and is from Hiroshima City.



He then moved to Hanshin to play alongside his older brother, Takahiro Arai, and this season served as the Hanshin 1st Army's hitting coach.



Hiroshima is expected to provide careful instruction and develop long-distance batters by making use of their coaching experience.
